Configure Pixhawk 5X Ethernet Interface

Open MAVLink Console into the Pixhawk running PX4 - Autopilot. Then run the following commands:

echo DEVICE=eth0 > /fs/microsd/net.cfg
echo BOOTPROTO=fallback >> /fs/microsd/net.cfg
echo IPADDR=192.168.0.4 >> /fs/microsd/net.cfg
echo NETMASK=255.255.255.0 >>/fs/microsd/net.cfg
echo ROUTER=192.168.0.1 >>/fs/microsd/net.cfg
echo DNS=192.168.0.1 >>/fs/microsd/net.cfg

On reboot, the IP should set itself.

uxrce_dds_client start -t udp -p <UXRCE_DDS_PRT> -h <UXRCE_DDS_AG_IP> -n drone

The above two parameters are set on the PX4 either through QGC or with a MAVLink shell.

You can edit the Python file that generates the rcS.control file during build to hard-code a prefix s.t. instead of /fmu/out you can have something else.
